Our standard

We design, build, and review 5starslicensing.com to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We also align our practices with Section 508 and ADA Title III guidance for public-facing web content.

What we do

• Semantic HTML landmarks and one primary heading per page.
• A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
• Color combinations tested for 4.5:1 text contrast and 3:1 UI contrast.
• Accessible names on icon-only buttons and links.
• Form labels, required indicators, and error messages wired for assistive tech.
• Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
• Keyboard operability throughout, including menus and dialogs.
• Automated linting (eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y) on every change, plus a quarterly manual review.

Known limitations

Some third-party content (such as embedded scheduling widgets or maps) may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We continually review and replace third-party components when better-accessible alternatives are available. If you encounter a barrier in any embedded content, please let us know - we will provide the information another way as quickly as possible.
